England - Day 3 (Buckingham Palace)
Above: Buckingham Palace outside the Royal Palace was a guard! The changing of the guards was cancelled today because of the rain but it was still great to see!
Below: The serious face still makes me wonder how they can do that! Above: The light posts on the gate to Buckingham Palace. It is fit for a Queen ... get it? LOL.
Below: Flag on top of the Palace! When the flag is at the top, that means the Queen is home! Too bad she didn't have time to have tea with the best Canadian ever! :P LOL. Above: Guard outside the palace. So serious...LOL.
Below: The ever so still guard which at first glance looks like a statue until we saw two other guards come out and he had to do a little thing with his gun! Above: This is a close up of the front entrance which was zoomed in from my camera past the first set of front gates! The detail on the doors is pretty amazing!

Below: Again, the guard outside the palace! Above: The lights on the front gate.
Below: The fountain right across from the entrance gates of the palace! It was honestly, so gorgeous. Above: The front gate to Buckingham Palace. Royal logo. It is hard to imagine that only 3-4 police officers, besides the traditional looking guards, hold down the gates. They do have loaded guns, but it is still crazy that they control the many people gathered outside the gates.
Below: The royal front gates to Buckingham Palace! Above: The top of the front entrance at Buckingham Palace.
Below: The Royal "R" that is found on all the gates and statues around Buckingham Palace. So pretty and elegant! Above: The platform where the Queen would address the public. So amazing to see something so iconic and meaningful.

My Second Birthday - 21 in London!
Above and Below: Decorations that Danny and his mum put up for me! I loved them!
Above and Below: We went for dinner at a restaurant called the Harvester. It was an unlimited salad bar! SO YUMMY! I also had a steak - and yes, everything in the UK is served with peas! Also has this thing called a "cookie dough chocolate brownie" for dessert! TO DIE FOR!

London Zoo - SO MANY CUTE ANIMALS!
Below here are all the pictures of the animals that I had seen at London Zoo! There were honestly so many animals to see! I must admit the pigs were my favourite and the monkeys were just too cute! But, the meerkats were little darlings and just adorable! I even got the chance to bond with a zebra who came really close and was clearly wanting a hug - if only that was allowed! LOL. I cannot forget about the gorgeous lion with the big mane! He was too cute! Oh and also, we seen a Nighttime Daytime bird! It was pretty epic! London Zoo was one the biggest I have ever been to! It took us from 10:00am to about 3:00pm to look through it all, only breaking once for the penguin show, and even eating as we walked around! That is how big it was! I must say I really did enjoy it. It was nice going in the off-peak season because the zoo wasn't as crowded and there wasn't many people. You actually got to see the animals all up close! It was such a great day and the animals were too amazing and super adorable!

The Final CountdowN
Last Weeks/Days in London before the Homeland!
CAMDEN TOWN MARKET: This is one of the biggest and oldest streets markets in London. Let me tell you first that it is beyond huge! The shops and stalls line every side street for the whole road while other shops are set up in stores along the roads. I could not believe the size! I didn't find anything to purchase while here but nonetheless it was amazing to be here and see! Danny and I even found a shop that sold bubble tea - bonus!
JACK THE RIPPER TOUR in WHITECHAPEL/ALDGATE: What kind of person would I be if I came to London and failed to do a Jack the Ripper tour? A terrible one that is. We booked a tour online. It was one of a kind that is for sure! First we met the guide and group outside Aldgate East station exit. From there, I knew it would be the most amazing experience ever. The guide we had wore an outfit that seemed such in character to the time he was telling about. He was one of a kind that is for sure! On the tour he used a portable projector called "Ripper Vision" to put everything into further context and pictures of the time. The tour stopped at each one of the murder scenes of the victims of Jack. The guide would explain and tell what happened in full expression and detail. The buildings around the area were over 400 years old (in some cases) and were the original buildings of the era of Jack the Ripper. The tour even stopped at the 10 Bells pub. This was the main hub of the time where the workers and Jack, inevitably, would have visited on a regular basis. Words cannot describe how the tour was. It was more than anything expected and truly a must do in London!
HOUNSLOW URBAN FARM: Danny surprised me and took me to this farm. Here we seen a variety of animals you could pet and see. The most important one to see for me was the pigs! The reason we visited here was for me to pet a pig! Yes, you read that right - PET A PIG! A real, big, oinking pig! It was actually such a fun afternoon and beyond special! I just adored the pigs here and it really was special! The pig I pet was full of personality as well and hopefully enjoyed it as much as I did!
GUNNERSBURY PARK: Spending the afternoon in one of London's many parks is always a great afternoon, especially when the sun finally shines (we all know British weather is the most unpredictable)!
SCIENCE MUSEUM: Spending the afternoon at the science museum and got to go up the huge volcano! It was a great afternoon and looking at all the fun science stuff. Majority of the tables were interactive and actually quite fun and enjoyable!
RICHMOND PARK: This is one of the other parks I have visited here in London. Apparently there are wild deer that roam the park but unfortunately we didn't see any. We did see cows though…and managed to get soaking wet in the rain. LOL. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful park and a sunny day until the rain came!
AROUND TO THE BEST SITES OF LONDON: Shopping at Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, tipping telephone boxes in Kingston, saying a final goodbye to Big Ben, seeing the statue of Churchill, touring Trafalgar Square, and finding a purse from Harrods meant making the most of the time I have left in London! These pictures really speak for themselves. I love London and all it has to offer! Danny and I even made it to see one final theatre performance for his birthday as I surprised him with tickets! Wicked truly was wicked and one of the best shows around! Stunning performance and even better seats to watch it from!
NANDOS: It wouldn't be worth it to spend my last few weeks and days in London without visiting this place one last time! Such a good restaurant and I even tried the medium spiced chicken again. Thank God for bottomless drinks because I sure needed them! Even got caramel cheesecake for dessert! YUM!
