Below: Gorgeous sunsets in Italy! Above: Italy has some of the most narrow streets ever. And funny thing is that their streets don't have car lines - just for bus lanes. Its a pile of chaos.

I planned just to go inside to have a look around for about an hour and ended up spending nearly 2.5 hours inside of there! It was breathtaking and so interesting! Just amazing to say the least!

Below: Traffic in Italy - lovely Vespas! Too cute how they are everywhere over the streets and alley ways! You have to be careful when you walk down narrow type streets because once a Vespa honks to get out of the way you move or else they will go anyway! LOL. Above: On the hop on hop off tour driving around the streets of Rome, where I would get off when I wanted to see around the major sights. One of the stops (as you can see in the distance) was St. Peter's Basilica! It was remarkable - but I made my visit the next day after this picture!

Above and Below: Big buildings are just the norm in Rome and each one attracts a jaw dropping stare in amazement that one city could have as much beauty as it does!

Below: Ancient sights in the wonderful city! Above: So many stairs that lead around the city! Honestly, there would be little alley ways that was marked by stairs where no cars could reach and you would have to climb up stairs to get to other parts of the city and such!

Below: Overview of the Piazza! There are so many little Piazza's all around the city hidden behind big buildings and around little street corners! Each one is lined with traditional Italian shops and snacks which is even more characteristic of Italy! Above: Another stunning building found around Rome! This one happens to be one of the Parliament buildings in Rome!

Below: Pizza in a cute cafe - this one is mozzarella and ham! Super yummy! There was quite a few pizzas that have had things on them and you never would have thought to put it on there! LOL. Still yummy though! Above: The bus station in Rome outside/attached to Termini station! I am so glad I took the hop on hop off bus tour in Rome because it looked like a pile of chaos! But I must say, for how big the train station was I managed okay to get from Rome to Pisa! LOL.
Below: The sightseeing bus I took for 48 hours of travel! It was such a great way to stop where you wanted, no hurry at the major attractions and surrounding areas but then again it was also the most beneficial to see those sights you wouldn't otherwise have seen! Above: The streets of Rome while the warm sun shined down! I even got a sunburn my first day in Rome but learnt to use the sunscreen after that!

Above and Below: Circus Massimo! This is where they used to hold chariot races in Caesar's time. The white marks are the original markings from the horses that have been made centuries ago where they would gather to watch the races! I thought it was remarkable to see how history has stayed in Rome over the years for you to actually see!

Below: I went to the Pope's Speech at St. Peter's Basilica Wednesday April 9th, 2014! There was hundreds, thousands, etc. of people gathered to see the Holy Man himself! It was a remarkable thing to see and witness! Above: This is the Italian Roman courthouse! It was huge and utterly magnificent!
Below: Inside my hostel called Freedom Traveller Hostel in Rome! It was literally the greatest location - 5 minutes walk from the train station and then 20 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain!
